Visit the tasting room and enjoy trying their signature Bare Knuckle whiskeys, Battle Standard 142 gins, and premium Distiller’s Reserve whiskeys. Try up to four samples, or enjoy a couple of cocktails from the special seasonal menu. If you’re interested in learning about the process, go on a tour of the facility and grounds. You’ll learn about the entire production process, from the milling and fermentation process to the bottling of each unique flavor. Tours are available by request and you don’t need to make a reservation. You can be spontaneous by stopping in for a visit and a tour.

An ideal place for the history buff, the Rippon Lodge Historic Site is a 43-acre plot of land that provides a vital connection to Colonial Virginia. One of the oldest known homes in Prince William County, Richard Blackburn built Rippon Lodge in 1747. After years of being cared for by direct descendants of the original builder, the home was sold to Prince William County in 2000. The county restored it in 2007 and now invites the community and guests onto the premises to learn about an important part of Woodbridge history.
Rippon Lodge sits proudly at 15520 Blackburn Road. Tours of the premises are $5 for adults and available year-round at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. from Friday through Monday. Elizabeth Hartwell Mason Neck National Wildlife Refuge
The Elizabeth Hartwell Mason Neck Wildlife National Wildlife Refuge is an out-of-the-ordinary date destination sure to delight the animal lover and naturist in your life. The refuge was the first established with the specific intent to protect the bald eagle. Once extremely endangered, we can often find the majestic eagle nesting here.
